WHAT IS A PSYCHIATRIST?
A psychiatrist is a medical professional WHOM IS devoted to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of all mental disorders. Our Psychiatrist is specialized in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry.
What is a PA?
PA stands for Physician Assistant. Our physician assistants have many years of training in clinical medicine and are supervised under our in house psychiatrist.
Does this office provide therapy?
Yes- We have a (LCP) Licensed Clinical Professional. An LCP is trained In mental health, has met educational Requirement, and has years of supervised clinical experience.
What is Spravato?
Nasal esketamine spray used to treat adults with:
Treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD)
What do I need to bring with me to my visit?
- Insurance card
- Patient forms
- ID
Whom do we treat?
We treat children, teens and adults with any mental health relatable concerns.
What do I do if I need a refill on a medication?
We ask that you be responsible for anticipating the need for refills. Requests may take up to 48 hours to process.
Why is my child not doing well in school?
Your child may need some testing. We can help you with identifying any issues that your child may have.
I feel sad, tired and I do not have energy. Is that normal?
No, If you have these feeling for a long period of time, you may be suffering from depression or other mood disorders.
I am have trouble with my child. Do you do therapy for children?
Yes, our psychiatrist is specialized in child, and adolescent psychiatry.
My teen got distant suddenly. Do I need to schedule a doctor's appointment for her/him?
YES, your child’s sudden changes are red flags that he/ she maybe going through some difficulties.
I get very worried for no apparent reason. Is there something that I can do?
This may be a sign of anxiety; you may need therapy and medication to treat it.
How do you know if you need to see a psychiatrist, therapist, counselor or psychotherapist?
If you’re interested or curious, just go. People go to therapy for a host of reasons — anything from getting support, to getting help for major mental illness, to working through a issue(s), to just getting an outsider’s perspective on the issue(s), to thinking about questions of meaning, etc.
Can you treat my whole family?
We treat patients as young children, teen and adults.
